CATCH’EM ALL is a new installation designed by the artist duo RM presented for the 2023 edition of the Swiss Art Awards.

Upbeat music attracts us into an installation that invites us to listen together to a playlistx composed of tracks explicitly referring to sexually-transmitted infections. However, the lyrics talk about STIs without any moral preconceptions. RM explores the grey area around the frivolity of partying and deals with a subject who is marginalised by the obsession with hygiene that has become the norm. The diversion puts the disease front and centre of an often concealed reality, and the humour is dark due to its apparent carelessness.
However, at the centre of the installation, a certain seriousness is called to mind through the game of darts, whose target has been turned into a clock. If the darts move closer to the centre, the mechanism is blocked and time stops.
